Statistics on TfL's performance in answering FOI requests are published at: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/foi/28430.aspx.

TfL receives a high volume of FOI requests, around 2,500 a year, and in 2013/14 to date has replied to 88 per cent of requests within the statutory deadline. There is an improving trend in this response rate and it exceeds the level which the Information Commissioner, who is responsible for enforcement of the FOI Act, has indicated is acceptable.

TfL has also increased significantly the range and scope of information that is published pro-actively to further improve transparency and make information available without the need for an FOI request.
