Question

Further to your answer to question 2013/2802 on pedestrian crossings, will you publish the list of Transport for London controlled pedestrian crossings that have neither an audible sound nor rotating cone and which are failing to meet the 1995 Department for Transport standard for minimum safety standards for blind and partially sighted people.  Will you also publish the list of pedestrian crossings which will finally meet the national safety standard in (a) March 2015 and (b) March 2016?

TfL will be publishing its progress on the upgrade of all sites in London with tactile or audible facilities in spring 2014.

This will also detail the planned programme over the next two years, including the forecasted position in March 2015. The programme will be complete in March 2016 in line with my commitment detailed in 'Your accessible transport network'.
