Do the Government's plans to create permitted development rights allowing owners to convert shops into housing without planning permission mean that you will need to update London Plan policy on town centres?

Written response from the Mayor Not necessarily; it depends on how Government responds to consultation on its recent proposals. However, I will be updating London Plan policy on town centres more generally as part of the Further Alterations to the London Plan.
