Written response from the Mayor Londoners can trust my claim. Of the 12.5 Hectares lost the largest loss was for 6.7Ha for a site in Hackney for the Olympics where the land was re-provided as part of the Olympic Park. The remainder were a large number of small losses. Redevelopment is sometimes accepted where the development enhances the overall quality of the remaining site or public access is improved to the site.
