Written response from the Mayor MOPAC is responsible for the selection, appointment, training and management of independent lay members to police misconduct hearings. These appointments are for a four year term.

The contracts for existing independent lay members have been extended to the 31 December 2013. We have offered new 4 year contracts to existing members and will be recruiting some new panel members. The new contracts will begin on 1st January 2014.
