Victoria Borwick, my Deputy Mayor, attended the launch of the King's Fund report 'Leading health care in London' and we have read it with interest. She and officers will be meeting with the King's Fund to discuss the recommendations in more detail.

My understanding is that NHS reforms are designed to empower clinicians to lead commissioning of services as they have the best understanding of their patients' needs.
