Further to the Metropolitan Police admitting that at least one meeting with Duwayne Brooks was secretly recorded have you asked the Metropolitan Police how often they used this practice with other victims of crime?

The Commissioner has assured me that this is not common practice and would only authorised in rare circumstances.

It should be noted that there are a number of on-going investigations in this area, including the investigation being led by Chief Constable Mick Creedon and the HMIC review.
