What will be done to ensure that West Ham's move away from Upton Park does not have a damaging effect on the existing local economy in the area, for example the local pubs which depend so heavily on their match day takings?

This will be a matter for Newham Council as part of its process to consider any proposals for developing the Boleyn ground site and I would encourage local businesses and residents to make their views known to the council at the appropriate time.
