Question

In monitoring the provision of family housing in London, will the Mayor disregard any of those provided above the third floor?

No. It would be inappropriate to disregard family housing that is actually being provided in this way. Given the pressures to meet London's housing needs and the limited amount of development capacity available it is in any case impractical to seek to accommodate all families below the fourth floor. That is one of the reasons I place such strong emphasis on good quality, well designed housing, and especially reasonable space standards, including balconies.
