What do you think is an appropriate amount of time to put plans on hold to close the nearby A&E at King George's Hospital? Will you now oppose the planned closure of A&E services at King George's Hospital?

I have received an assurance from David Flory, Chief Executive of the Trust Development Authority (TDA) that no changes will be made to A&E services at King George's Hospital until the issues at Queen's Hospital are resolved.

I understand that the TDA is working closely with Queen's Hospital, local clinicians and commissioners to deliver the rapid and sustainable improvements that are necessary to its A&E service. I think we all want these issues at Queen's Hospital to be resolved as soon as possible so that patients receive the high quality, timely care that they deserve
