Question

The 2005 campaign Capital Catch-up resulted in 40,000 children being vaccinated in London. Given that the Public Health Outcomes Framework places health protection as a key outcome for reducing health inequalities, will the Mayor ensure a similar campaign is delivered in 2013?

A new MMR catch-up campaign was launched on 25 April 2013 by NHS England, Public Health England and the Department of Health, targeting secondary school aged children. I recently issued a statement in support of this campaign.
