Brentford Football Club has been discussing its proposals for a new stadium, housing and hotel development with my officers. Whilst proposals are at a pre-application stage, there is no firm commitment for improved transport infrastructure associated with the development itself. On receipt of the application submission, impact of the proposals on the transport network will be better known by TfL and if necessary, improvements will be sought to mitigate their impact. It is nevertheless already expected that spectators will benefit from improvements that are already planned for Gunnersbury Station and those currently being undertaken at Kew Bridge rail station.
