Officers are drafting a response which will be sent shortly

Written response received on 31 May 2013.

There are 29 police stations that have public access of some kind that are being sold. In some cases, such as Barking Police Station, equivalent facilities are being provided elsewhere (Barking Learning Centre) or Contact Points will be provided in the locality. Timelines for sales are currently being agreed but I expect properties to go to market as soon as practically possible.

I am committed to delivering value for money for the taxpayer and meet the challenge of service delivery with fewer resources.

The stations are:

1. Barking Police Station 2. Golders Green Police Station 3. Whetstone Police Station 4. Belvedere Police Station 5. Willesden Green Police Station 6. Orpington Police Station 7. Hampstead Police Station 8. Albany Street Police Station 9. Kenley Police Station 10. Norbury Police Station 11. South Norwood Police Station 12. Winchmore Hill Police Station 13. Woolwich Police Station 14. Hackney Police Station 15. Muswell Hill Police Station 16. Brentford Police Station 17. Clapham Police Station 18. Sydenham Police Station 19. Brockley Police Station 20. East Ham Police Station & Former Section House 21. North Woolwich Police Station 22. Wanstead Police Station 23. East Dulwich Police Station (New) 24. Walthamstow Police Station 25.
