My officers have been working with West London Waste Authority colleagues to understand the CO2 impact of their waste procurement options. The Authority has set high recycling targets and has committed to ensure that non-recyclable waste treatment options will comply with the carbon intensity floor emission level as set out in Policy 2 of my Municipal Waste Management Strategy.
