Please see MQ 1588 / 2013.

I have been assured by NHS England (London) that the implementation of the Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Clinical Strategy will ensure that maternity services in the North central London area are sufficient to meet the needs of the local population.

Additionally, I have recently written to the Chair of the Whittington Hospital to seek assurances regarding their future plans. I understand that the Trust is currently developing plans for greatly enhanced maternity facilities, for which it has been awarded £750,000 by the Department of Health.
