On the 24th June 2013 there will be 137 Police Constable (PC) and 22 Sergeants (Sgt) posts on Neighbourhood Policing teams, they will be divided over the four neighbourhood areas in Barnet, identified as North, East, South and West. There are five wards in the North, five wards in the East, six wards in the South and five wards in the West.

Following the recent posting process the following allocation of officer posts was confirmed.

North - 31 PCs and 5 Sgts East - 36 PCs and 6 Sgts South - 37 PCs and 6 Sgts West - 33 PCs and 5 Sgts.

This is an increase from 16 Sgts and 42 PCs that are currently on Safer Neighborhood Teams. Additionally there will be two PCSO posts allocated to every ward. Special constables will also be allocated to wards.
