TfL is forecasting £0.5m to £1m additional income a year as a result of the recent tariff increase. Even after the tariff increase (which averaged 19 per cent on weekday charges) TfL's tariffs remain well below the charges at equivalent competitor and Network Rail car parks. All net revenues generated from car parking are reinvested back into the transport network.
