My London Plan (Policy 3.17) encourages the provision of high quality health and social care, particular in areas of underprovision or where there are particular needs. I have not directed refusal on any major housing schemes on the grounds of inadequate health service provision. My officers work closely with the relevant boroughs to ensure that such provision is adequately secured through S106 agreements.
