My London Plan (Policy 3.16) encourages adequate provision of social infrastructure to support new developments, which is particularly important in areas of major new development. When considering major housing developments social infrastructure provision is an important planning consideration and my officers work closely with the relevant boroughs to ensure that adequate mitigation is secured before planning permission is granted.
