Question

After 2 years of complaints TFL painted 4 arrows so that fast overtaking cars did not try to overtake and then immediately come across the end of their lane -causing them to pull into the slower inside lane, full of cars.

Resurfacing has removed the first 2 arrows. TfL now refuse to reinstate these missing arrows even though they had previously made a formal decision that 4 arrows was safer. Will you ensure that 4 arrows are reinstated?

I am not aware of any refusal by TfL to reinstate the road markings.

TfL confirmed to me that the road markings on the slip road will be reinstated with the four arrows. This will be carried out as part of its programme of carriageway remarking being undertaken in the area, and will be completed by the end of May.
