The Mayor

Community facilities are recognised in my London Plan as important to communities and facilities should meet their needs as stated in my policies 3.1 and 3.16. My London Plan provides the context for boroughs' local planning policies. The particular case of converting the Royal Bell pub into a community hub is a local matter and for the London Borough of Bromley to determine.

The site has benefitted from decorative vinyl treatment to the windows through the Outer London Fund. However, no funds were requested to support community use of the building.
