Extremely successful.

The Cycle Task Force's activities, including covert operations and cycle marking and education events have helped to deliver a 10.4 per cent reduction in cycle theft over the last year (2,409 fewer offences), despite increased cycle usage. The team has provided a dedicated and renewed focus on cycling issues, helping to raise awareness of cycle theft and crime prevention techniques, improving investigation and victim care and encouraging reporting of cycle theft offences.
