The London Fir Brigade (LFB) has regular meetings with neighbours and key partners at a corporate and local level and the proposals in the Fifth London Safety Plan have been discussed at those meetings over recent months. I understand that both London and Essex brigades work closely with the City of London Corporation over its contingency plans for Epping Forest, and this will continue to be the case should these proposals be agreed. Furthermore, I'm pleased to reassure you that there are no proposals to change the level of resources that are mobilised to incidents and that the LFB's continuing ability to deal with large or protracted incidents has been a key consideration in developing the proposals.
