Officers are drafting a response which will be sent shortly.

Written response received on 1 July 2013.

The cost of the New Bus represents an excellent deal for London, as the fixed-priced contract includes inflation, technical upgrades and the legal requirement to switch to Euro 6 engines during 2014.

At today's prices, the buses cost around £326,000, which is comparable to a standard hybrid double deck bus when many of the enhanced features are taken into account.
