The co-location of ambulance service vehicles at stations such as Barnet and Acton have demonstrated that such co-location can work and bring benefits, such as use of underused accommodation and income generation, to both parties. I am aware that the Fire Commissioner has met with the new Chief Executive of the London Ambulance Service and they are both determined to explore all areas of collaborative working, including the sharing of accommodation where appropriate, where it will be of mutual benefit.
