Given the suggestion in the Jobs and Growth Plan for London that you will invest in Broadband in order 'to ensure London has the underpinning technological infrastructure to support rapid growth', will you help improve Broadband connectivity in areas such as Rotherhithe where businesses have reported being affected by slow speeds?

Rotherhithe is expected to benefit from Super Connected Cities (SCCP) funding, through the launch of a pan London 'voucher' scheme to enable start-ups to access ultrafast broadband. These plans are, however, still subject to state aid approval and so will not be confirmed until later in the year. The GLA is supportive of digital connectivity initiatives in London and will ask all boroughs to promote this scheme after EU commission approval later this year.
