The LEP's Skills and Employment Working Group is meeting at the end of May to co-ordinate actions by its stake holders - including Job Centre Plus, London's skills providers and Work Programme primes - in order to deliver the implementation stage of the Jobs and Growth Plan between now and the autumn.

In the Plan, the LEP has asserted that it will lead the work with service providers to ensure that high quality clear information is available for all customers, including lone parents, to be able to make informed choices. The challenge faced by lone parents is recognised in Plan's commitment to stakeholders working to ensure that Londoners from disadvantaged groups have the necessary skills they need to succeed.
