Officers are drafting a response which will be sent shortly.

Written response received on 13/03/13.

Please find the requested data in Appendix 758.

I am pleased confirm that docking stations are generally full only around 2 per cent of the time each day, and empty around 5 per cent of the time each day. This is a clear indication that overall, the scheme works well, and the evidence of nearly 20 million hires to date supports this.

Nevertheless, it is clear that some docking stations are not attended as frequently as they should be by Serco, and you'll be aware that this is the subject of intense discussion between TfL and Serco at this very moment. Serco face financial penalties if they do not improve their performance in the area of cycle redistribution.
