My Municipal Waste Management Strategy sets out measures for improving London's recycling rate, aiming to achieve 45 per cent by 2015 including:

• LWARB's £5 million flats recycling infrastructure programme providing 520,000 new households with new/improved recycling services • The development of new recycling infrastructure using LWARB's £58 million waste infrastructure funding pot and the London Green Fund. • Working with LWARB to deliver its Efficiency programme - service support for boroughs to provide cost effective recycling services, including incentives schemes such as Local Green Points • Working with TfL, boroughs and the private sector to provide more 'on-the-go' recycling bins across London.
