Question

In answer to 3499/2012 you informed me that GLA officers had spoken to Wandsworth Council to ask them to clearly identify their 2011/12 household waste recycling rates at 28 per cent on their website as published by DEFRA. However according to their website (http://www.wandsworth.gov.uk/info/200084/recycling_rubbish_and_waste/464...) they still maintain a municipal recycling rates of 43.8 per cent. Given that, in my opinion, they have clearly ignored your officer's advice, will you take further action?

My Waste Officers have spoken to LB Wandsworth officers about this matter and it is now resolved. LB Wandsworth's website now clearly identifies the Borough's 2011/12 household waste recycling rate as 28.4 per cent
