Question

In correspondence with constituents TfL have stated that "There is a safe alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists onto the north side of Nine Elms Lane." Could you confirm that this is the one way cycle path and therefore explain how Westbound cyclists should travel through the area?

Cyclists in the eastbound direction almost exclusively choose to cycle within the eastbound bus lane. While the vast majority of westbound cyclists choose to use the main westbound carriageway, any cyclists wishing to use an off-carriageway cycle path can safely use the facility on the north side of Nine Elms Lane due to its very light cycle traffic in both directions.
