Only ten residents attended a public meeting in Harrow organised by MOPAC on 4th October to consult on the new policing model in Harrow. Six of the attendees were the members of Harrow Police Community Consultative Group (HPCCG). Do you think that MOPAC is capable of undertaking public consultation / engagement in the Boroughs? Don't you think that MOPAC should be inclusive and work with local, well-established groups like the?

I am fully confident in MOPAC's public engagement abilities and its commitment to work with groups who truly represent their communities.

MOPAC has previously stated its intention to hold three themed meetings within Harrow to attract a wider and more representative audience. The first of these meetings has now been held, though attendance was disappointing, it provoked a relevant and meaningful discussion on the proposed new policing model between the police and the community. The next meeting is programmed for December and will consider violence against women and girls, one of my key MOPAC priority areas.
