Most residents in and around Hoe Lane have bus links to Enfield, Waltham Cross and Turnpike Lane on routes 217 and 317 from stops on the Great Cambridge Road, though this requires use of a pedestrian subway. A link on route 327 has been requested. Providing this link would cost around £160,000 per annum. Given the existing links, TfL has been unable to justify the extra cost, but they will continue the discussions with Enfield Council on the matter, particularly if there are new options or funding opportunities which the Council feel should be assessed.
