Question

You have now failed to answer my simple factual question for a second time. When you printed a promise to spend £100m on direct climate change programmes in your public draft Climate Change Mitigation and Energy Strategy in October 2010, you must have know what you meant to spend it on. You have made this promise a number of times since 2008. Can you give me the details you had in mind when publishing the figure in your draft strategy as requested in question 3602/2010 and again in question 699/2011, the final LDA settlement notwithstanding?

The £100m consisted of a spend of £78m by the LDA and £23m by TfL. The spend by project was dependent on the LDA's final settlement from government. Now that the final settlement from government is confirmed I will shortly be able to provide you with the breakdown of the programmes and projects this is supporting.
