The final version of my Air Quality Strategy, which will be published later in the autumn, will contain further details of the packages of local measures that will be deployed at the locations in central London that are at risk of not meeting PM10 limit values in 2011. Some of the measures, such as street cleaning and the application of dust suppressants, will commence trialling at selected locations from next month. TfL has also recently published on its Borough Extranet a report by consultants into possible local measures, which will help boroughs take action at other locations where PM10 concentrations are high.
