A comprehensive assessment of the air quality impacts of the Brentcross Cricklewood development was submitted by the applicant prior to my consideration of this case in February 2009. A range of mitigation measures have been put forward to deal with managing potential air quality impacts. There remains a significant amount of detailed design, testing and monitoring to be undertaken and the Council has set out detailed draft conditions which restrict development until this work is complete and has been submitted to the Council for approval. This process will aim to achieve my emerging air quality policy objectives as set out in the replacement London Plan policy 7.14.
