The Metropolitan Police deliver a number of VAW training programmes and seminars, which have been developed and informed on the basis of organisational TNA. The TNA ensures that MPS officers and staff - from specialist units to patrol officers and PCSOs - have the appropriate levels of awareness and are able to effectively deal with VAWG issues and cases as they arise.

The Violence Against Women and Girls Panel will be promoting a VAWG training needs analysis (TNA) as part of a wider programme to encourage boroughs and agencies to develop local Violence Against Women and Girls strategies and action plans.
