The new Countdown system will enable passengers to access predicted bus arrival information for all bus stops across the London network via the internet and mobile phones, as well as installing 2,500 new Countdown signs at bus stops.

For other sites TfL will encourage interested individual parties to make full use of the web facility currently being developed. Once this is live, organisations will be able to subscribe to a Countdown Service and display travel information on their own monitors. Should a Countdown sign still be preferred, it will only be considered if it is fully funded by external parties and secures sufficient passenger benefit.
