The allocation of intermediate homes in receipt of funding from the Homes and Communities Agency is in accordance with Communities and Local Government's national guideline, namely available to Londoners with a household income below the upper threshold limit of £60,000. This has been set at the same figure since the Housing Corporation introduced this limit over five years ago and therefore allocations have never complied with the guidance in the London Plan.

However, my new Housing Strategy and London Plan set out the intention that, for the first time, they will be fully aligned from April 2011.
