The latest Personal Injury collision reports available to TfL are to the end of July 2009 and these indicate that there have been two collisions involving pedestrians at this junction in the last 36 months. Although all pedestrian collisions are regrettable, this is a relatively low level of accidents. Any collisions since this time are firstly recorded by the Metropolitan Police and the details, including any causation factors, are then forwarded to TfL after approximately five months.

TfL is still investigating scheme options for providing pedestrian improvements here. Any improvements that may be developed must take into account the needs of other road users as well as pedestrians.
