Answer for EU

The British people were promised a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty by the Government, who outrageously reneged on that commitment. Unfortunately, it has been ratified by all EU member states and it is now fruitless to have a referendum on the Treaty. However, any future EU treaty must be put to the British people in a referendum. I also believe that the UK must repatriate some powers, such as employment law. That would be excellent for London as it would mean we could have a more competitive labour market, leading to more jobs and lower unemployment.
