All suspensions are subject to an open and fair appeal process which is broadly based on ACAS principles. The appeals process is Appendix 1 of the Terms and Conditions given to every busker when they first join the busking scheme.

Since July 2003, only three buskers' licences have been temporarily suspended. Only one person's license has been permanently removed due to behaviour towards a customer; this is currently going through the appeal process.
