Transport for London (TfL) do not have money in their budget or Business Plan (to 2017/18) to contribute towards the transport improvements necessary to help stimulate the regeneration of the Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea Opportunity Area. This has been communicated to the relevant stakeholders to ensure clarity regarding our financial position. TfL continue to work with Treasury Holdings (developer of the Battersea Power Station site), Wandsworth Borough Council, the GLA and other landowners to identify sources of funds that may be used to secure the upfront finance needed for transport improvements.
