With reference to your answer to Question 1573/ 2009: Pedestrian Crossing in Croydon Road, it appears that residents have yet to be consulted about plans to install a pedestrian crossing at this location, although you stated that the public consultation would take place 'in the summer'. Can you please indicate when the consultation will take place, and who will be consulted?

Consultation on the design of a new pedestrian crossing outside the school has commenced with key stakeholders (including the emergency services and Council officers) involved in managing the A232 Croydon Road. Once their responses have been received, TfL plans to undertake the more general public element of this consultation exercise in November 2009, which will include both the Primary School and residents located within the area.
