Modelling suggests that without the measures included in my draft Air Quality Strategy, a small number of locations in central London are at risk of not meeting the EU limit values for PM10 in 2011. Projections for 2015 also suggest that without the measures included in the Strategy, 45 per cent of London, including 65 per cent of roads (mainly in central London) will exceed the EU annual mean limit value for NO2 and a few locations in central London may also exceed the EU hourly mean limit value for NO2.
