This work is being progressed through a number of channels. Communities and Local Government, as a member of the London Delivery Board, is using its Homelessness Action Team and specialist advisers to liaise directly with boroughs to encourage improved prevention, including the support offered to non-statutory homeless people. The GLA is also engaging with the sub-regional groups of boroughs to emphasise this need, and has so far met with the east and south-west sub-regions.
