Question

I am very concerned at the lack of pedestrian crossing facilities at the junction of Harrow Road with Kilburn Lane and Ladbroke Grove. Can you tell me how many accidents there have been there in the last three years, how many people have been injured there and how many fatalities there have been?

This section of Harrow Road is the responsibility of the City of Westminster. There have been 20 collisions reported to the Police at the junction of Harrow Road with Ladbroke Grove in the 3 years up to the end of April 2009. As a result of these collisions, 24 people were injured. There were no fatalities, although 4 people were seriously injured. One of the slightly injured casualties was a pedestrian crossing at the junction.
