The DLR is the prime mode of travel to the City Airport. New extensions to Woolwcih Arsenal and further planned extensions to Stratford International and the 3-car upgrade will greatly improve access to the airport by rail from a wider catchment area. Interchange with Crossrail at Canary Wharf will also improve access to London City Airport from Central London and the west. These improvements will all support the growth of City Airport.
