What changes are Transport for London planning to make to the foot of Sydenham Rise Forest Hill SE23 at its junction with London Road (A205 South Circular Route) following their investigations into the traffic accident here on Sunday afternoon 29 March 2009 which resulted in the death of a pedestrian?

TfL has amended the position of pedestrian 'Green man' signals across the mouth of Sydenham Rise, to make them more visible to waiting pedestrians. TfL has also made changes to the signs and road markings on the eastbound approach to the junction. TfL will keep this under review.
