The 15 minute service frequency will be introduced on 1 June 2010. The change is a result of delays to the Network Rail resignalling project and the late delivery of additional new Diesel trains by Bombardier, as well as the operation of additional freight traffic between barking and Gospel Oak for the duration of the closure of the east end of the North London Line from 6 February 2010 until 31 May April 2010.
